The job is on-site with a HYBRID work schedule. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate within commuting distance of Pittsburgh PA, Cleveland OH, Birmingham AL, Dallas TX, Phoenix AZ
Lead Software Engineer ( Voice Authentication Applications ) :
- Lead maintenance and support of Pindrop applications (Windows-based voice authentication technology for fraud detection)
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a Junior Developer
- Manage API integrations and authentication protocols
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to voice authentication systems
- Participate in Agile/Scrum processes including sprint planning and retrospectives
- This position only involves 20% coding, mostly will be maintenance and support
Required Qualifications (Skills, Experience, Education, Certifications) :
- Technical leadership experience, including mentoring junior developers
- Software development experience with expertise in at least one of: C , Python, or Java
- Experience with API management and implementation, specifically with Apigee API Gateway
- Knowledge of Voice over IP (VoIP) technologies and Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)
- Proficiency with web technologies including TCP/IP, HTTP(S), HTML, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Financial services or banking industry experience preferred, particularly in fraud prevention / voice authentication / voice biometrics applications
