This position is a hybrid role which requires the employee to work in the office every Tuesday and Wednesday

Job Summary

The Sales Enablement Lead is responsible for the creation and delivery of sales enablement materials for FordDirect field team and FordDirect's Dealer/Retailer customers.

This position will support our Dealer Engagement team in becoming more effective sales consultants to FordDirect's customers. The Sales Enablement Lead has a background in producing sales enablement materials in multiple formats. The role also leads and continuously evolves the sales enablement process to stay ahead of field and customer needs.

The position requires critical and creative thinking skills and the ability to drive projects to completion. It also requires an understanding of consulting and selling processes.

The ideal candidate will have experience creating a Sales Enablement function.

Essential Functions
  1. Plan, manage, and implement full cycle sales enablement projects from concept through delivery.
  2. Create and manage the sales enablement roadmap.
  3. Work with subject matter experts to create effective materials that equip the field team with essential positioning, product, and industry knowledge.
  4. Continually assess and develop enablement materials and delivery methods to meet audience needs.
  5. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with teams to resolve issues and identify areas of concern or opportunity.
  6. Report on progress for assigned projects and provide insight and recommendations for sales enablement delivery.
  7. Stay current on technological landscape and emerging tools within the adult learning discipline.

Experience
  • Development of B2B sales enablement deliverables in multiple formats, 5+ years.
  • Experience with enablement tools and current technologies such as content repositories, graphic design/content design/desktop publishing applications, 5+ years.
  • Proven experience in project ownership within a corporate environment, 5+ years.
  • Creating and delivering presentations to various audience sizes.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Proven background in creating a Sales Enablement function.
  • Advanced sales content development (i.e., positioning decks, job aids, playbook, product overviews, videos, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of B2B selling process.
  • Ability to develop and facilitate product training in an interactive environment.
  • Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theories and delivery strategies, a plus.
  • Working knowledge of CRMs, i.e. Salesforce.
  • Ability to learn complex and technical subjects quickly.
  • Proactively problem-solve and multitask while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
  • Follow through mindset to uphold a 'close the loop' culture.
  • A positive approach to serving customers and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgment, high ethics, and project a professional image.
  • Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member with a positive 'can do' attitude.
  • The drive to identify and seize opportunities for continuous improvement as business needs change.
  • Excellent organization, flexibility and time management skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, deadline driven environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and business communication skills (written, verbal, listening).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
