Overview:

$1,500.00 Sign-On Bonus

We are looking for a Lead Registered Veterinary Technician to join our expanding team at West Denver Veterinary Hospital & Wellness. This role is essential in ensuring that we deliver exceptional experiences to both our patients and clients. As a Veterinary Technician in our organization, you will have access to a network of over 5,000 peers, a continuing education allowance, and various learning and development programs designed to help you achieve your career goals.

Responsibilities / Qualifications:

Position Skills:

Professional client communication and education, obtaining medical histories and symptoms
Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals
Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols for fellow staff members
Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoring
Proficient in dental prophylaxis

Position Requirements:

Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.
Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology
