Job Description Responsibilities
- Define and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy using Tricentis TOSCA.
- Develop and maintain a TOSCA automation roadmap aligned with project and organizational goals.
- Identify automation opportunities and ensure appropriate test coverage for applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain reusable, modular, and scalable automation test scripts using TOSCA.
- Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects.
- Ensure timely regression testing for new releases or updates.
- Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and objectives.
- Conduct training sessions to upskill team members on TOSCA and test automation tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including developers, business analysts, and QA teams, to understand requirements and ensure proper test automation coverage.
- Work with DevOps teams to integrate TOSCA scripts into CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide regular updates on test automation progress to project managers and leadership.
- Optimize existing automation scripts for performance and scalability.
- Continuously update and refactor test scripts to align with changing application requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with TOSCA automation tools and processes.
- Ensure compliance with QA standards and guidelines.
- Implement best practices for version control, reporting, and documentation in TOSCA automation.
- Stay updated with the latest TOSCA features and industry trends, recommending improvements as needed.
Additional Skill
- Proficiency in TOSCA modules such as API testing, GUI testing, and mobile testing.
- Hands-on experience with integrating TOSCA automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Bamboo.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for database validation during testing.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or VBScript for custom automation solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 5+ years in test automation.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Tricentis TOSCA, including automation scripting, framework development, and execution.
Compensation, Benefits and Duration Minimum Compensation: USD 44,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 154,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
