Title: Change Management Facilitator III (Internal title)

Employment Type: Contract from 05/31/2025 to 05/30/2026 with a strong potential to extend.

Contract Rate: Up to $90.00/Hr.

Workplace Type: Hybrid, hiring a 12-month contractor as Lead Program Manager, Business Change Facilitator III, New York Strategy & Transformation

Location: Brooklyn, NY or Northborough, MA 01532, This position would be 75% travel to train at field locations Tuesday - Thursday when required.

Main training will be May - September (not during storm season) there will be some travel during storm season but not as heavy.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic individual to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our work execution processes by leveraging digital solutions like the Mobile Outage Dispatch and OnMyWay applications. These initiatives aim to minimize time wastage, improve visibility into field conditions, and streamline the outage restoration process, ultimately leading to higher customer satisfaction and more efficient operations. In this role, you will focus on planning, developing, and delivering training to over 2,000 client field-based employees across New York State and Massachusetts. You will drive the adoption of people, process, and technology-driven changes associated with these digital products.


Key Responsibilities:

Training:

  • Facilitate in-person training sessions at the clients locations in New York and Massachusetts, conducting 2 sessions per day, each lasting 3-4 hours.
  • Lead the coordination and logistics of training delivery, overseeing all training activities for 2,000+ clients and Union Employees across 77 locations.
  • Schedule training sessions for employees from Tuesday to Thursday during non-storm seasons (April - September).
  • Develop and distribute training content as needed.

Strategy:

  • Evolve and execute the change management strategy, refining and adjusting it in line with the program timeline and effective measurement strategies you will develop and implement.
  • Collaborate with consulting partners, contractors, Business Strategists, Product Managers, and Portfolio Managers, establishing yourself as a trusted thought leader in change enablement.
  • Manage advocacy at the executive and stakeholder levels to develop buy-in for change initiatives.

Measurement:

  • Use a data-driven approach to assess, evaluate, measure, and sustain the desired outcomes associated with the human side of change, adjusting and refining strategies to optimize value realization and ROI.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 4+ years of change management experience, ideally from a technology implementation background and familiarity with SAFe agile methodologies.
  • Project/Program Management and Change Management certifications are highly desirable.
  • Strong stakeholder and engagement-focused mindset, with a passion for creativity and innovation.
  • Self-starter with the ability to identify, translate, and develop emerging priorities into actionable plans, demonstrating high levels of business acumen.
  • Strong team collaboration ethos built on trust and respect.
  • Understanding of agile project delivery and the ability to execute and deliver change management within an agile environment.
  • Solid performance management background with experience in recognizing the need for data-driven metrics.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, providing frameworks and direction to guide others through change.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to create articles, PowerPoint decks, training materials, newsletters, briefings, and social media-style posts tailored to different audiences.
  • Well-developed self-planning and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently, adjust to varying or unexpected changing conditions, and shift priorities with minimal direction.
