Description Join our dynamic and high-performing agile team as a Lead Principal Systems Engineer. We are looking for a seasoned professional with extensive expertise to design and develop innovative capabilities for complex systems that meet strict interface, performance, and security criteria. In this role, you will provide critical systems engineering support across various areas, including architecture, design, requirements analysis, and network implementation.
Key Responsibilities: - Guide and support systems engineering for large-scale systems and components within a complex network environment.
- Offer technical direction for systems enhancements and designs.
- Maintain and update Systems Engineering Documentation.
- Conduct Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) and similar evaluations.
- Collaborate with Program Management, Integration Engineers, Test Engineers, and others in an Agile setup.
- Develop and enforce rigorous engineering practices for all tasks.
- Communicate effectively with technical professionals and customer representatives.
- Engage in program increment planning and Agile team activities.
- Provide hands-on technical assistance for data auditing across multiple data centers.
Basic Qualifications: - Master's degree with 15-20 years of relevant experience or Doctorate with 13-16 years; relevant experience may substitute education.
- Extensive experience in system architecture, design, requirements analysis, and network implementation.
- Proven familiarity with data centers including servers, network switches, and security appliances.
- Minimum of 3-6 years of experience with infrastructure components.
- Over 10 years of experience in large complex system architecture design and integration.
- Experience in requirements verification traceability.
- Capability in user requirements analysis and lifecycle documentation.
- Strong understanding of secure systems engineering principles.
- Adept at multitasking with various systems and components.
- Excellent planning, prioritization, and communication skills.
- Commitment to best practices in systems engineering.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in transitioning legacy systems.
- Familiarity with model-based systems engineering.
- Knowledge of risk management and risk registers.
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies.
- Administrative experience on Windows Server and Linux platforms.
