Company Description
Castles Daycare Academy is a small close-knit facility. Traditionally (38 years) we have only serviced 29 children per-year. However, we received an expansion grant last year and have been able to double in size and enrollment.
Castles is known for its strenuous, yet fun, curriculum and placing children well above grade level entering the school system. The Castle has been studied and dubbed "unconventional, with uncommon results."
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Charlotte, NC for a Lead Preschool Teacher at Castles Daycare Academy. The Lead Preschool Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum, providing a safe and nurturing environment for children, communicating with parents, and supervising classroom staff.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create/follow engaging and educational lesson plans
- Knowledge of early childhood development best practices
- Patient, empathetic, and compassionate approach towards children
- Basic understanding of child behavior and classroom management techniques
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred not required)
