Lead, Platform Engineer

Knowledge of Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery model. Effectively utilize and navigate SaaS applications, and an understanding of the advantages and scalability options these model offers. Identify, and implement innovative solutions that add value to our business partner. Continuous improvements and ability to adapt and evolve in response to changing business needs or technology advancements. Partner with cross functional teams and stakeholders to understand business needs. Understand stakeholders needs and assess platform configuration feasibility and impact on business process, integration, and security. Design flexible and scalable solutions with a commitment to uphold best practices. Integral part of project scope, including engagement & collaboration with business stakeholders and vendors, navigating complexities, communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Telecommuting permitted up to 60% per week. $179,982.00 per year. Full time employment, Monday Friday, 40 hours per week. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Information System, Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, a Masters degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering or a related field and 3 years of related work experience will be accepted. Must have 2 years of experience in: Experience utilizing Agile Principles, including Agile frameworks, development methodologies and testing practices; Experience with Agile tools, including Jira, Jira Align, Miro, and Confluence; Experience with a customer-centric approach to defining, building, and releasing a continuous flow of valuable products and services to functional customers and users; Engaging with business partners to uncover business needs/challenges and deliver actionable analytics and insights solutions to drive business outcomes; Utilize hypothesis-driven approach to generate insights and actions in collaboration with business partners; Ability to navigate uncertainty through a data-driven evaluation and recommended options; Knowledge of user experience design tools, techniques, and approaches; Designing applications used by clients; and, Experience with unit, interface and end user testing concepts and tooling (functional & non-functional). Must have 1 year of experience in: Utilization of technology stacks, Cloud Services, Software Development Lifecycle, Core Infrastructure components and interdependencies; and, Understanding data protection and data security principles and services, strong knowledge of data loss prevention, role-based access controls, data encryption, data access capture and core security services. Telecommuting permitted up to 60% per week.
