Lead Platform Engineers who are enthusiastic about developing and maintaining cutting-edge technologies to drive significant transformations within our organization.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage the deployment and upkeep of Virtualization platforms, including Amazon Workspaces and Citrix, within Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Proactively escalate and address issues related to the support of virtualization platforms.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts on high-severity incident calls to ensure quick recovery.
- Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in Windows-based desktop environments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and report production problems affecting the desktop infrastructure in accordance with operations processes.
- Collaborate effectively with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues and implement system improvements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all IT systems and services supported by the team.
- Train users on software applications and promote adherence to IT policies and procedures.
- Engage in service capacity planning, demand forecasting, and system performance tuning.
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and strong oral and written communication abilities.
Basic Qualifications: - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with Citrix applications or Virtual Desktop platforms (e.g., Citrix Studio, Citrix Director, Workspace Environment Manager, Dizzion, or AWS Workspaces).
- At least 3 years of scripting experience (PowerShell or Python).
- At least 2 years working in AWS environments.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with endpoints.
Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree or applicable military experience.
- Over 6 years of experience with Citrix applications or Virtual Desktop platforms.
- 4+ years supporting Windows-based virtual desktops.
- 4+ years of scripting experience (PowerShell or Python).
- 4+ years of experience with network architecture and troubleshooting firewall issues.
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA-V) or similar cloud certification.
Salary Information: For candidates located in McLean, VA: $127,500 - $145,500. In Plano, TX: $115,900 - $132,200. For Richmond, VA: $115,900 - $132,200.
This position is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
