Our challenge

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Lead Pega Developer with a Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) certification to lead the design, development, and implementation of Pega-based solutions. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, oversee project execution, and mentor a team of developers. Candidate will play a vital role in delivering scalable, efficient, and high-quality Pega applications aligned with business objectives.


Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Dallas, TX / Pittsburgh, PA is $130k - $140k/year & benefits (see below).


The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end design, development, configuration, and deployment of Pega applications and solutions.
  • Serve as a principal technical resource for Pega projects, ensuring best practices and standards are followed.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, system architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Architect scalable Pega workflows, decision strategies, and integrations with external systems.
  • Mentor, guide, and review work of junior developers team members to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
  • Develop complex Pega rules, data pages, flows, activities, and interface components.
  • Manage system performance, security, and data integrity across Pega applications.
  • Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance.
  • Stay current with Pega platform updates, innovations, and industry trends; recommend relevant best practices.
  • Document design specifications, technical processes, and deployment plans.
  • Lead or participate in Agile/Scrum teams, contributing to planning, estimation, and delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Certification as a Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) is mandatory.
  • Extensive experience (typically 09+ years) in Pega application development and solution architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of Pega PRPC (Process Runtime Platform), including rules, Case Management, and Decisioning.
  • Proficiency in Pega Java, HTML, CSS, and integration technologies (APIs, web services).
  • Experience with Pega deployment best practices, tools like Deployment Manager, and release management.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
