Evento - a rapidly growing culinary events company is looking for an experienced pasta maker who also has a passion for sharing their knowledge with others.

Responsibilities include:
- Act as lead instructor for pasta making events
- Make pasta fresh pasta on daily basis
- Cook for Evento experiences on an as needed basis
- Train staff for Evento experiences and pasta production
- Responsible for all equipment associated with pasta production, manage and maintain inventory as well as communicate needs to leadership
- Manage ingredient inventory for all pasta production
- Work cross-functionally with Evento leadership and operations team to make sure all functions of Evento's pasta needs are met during future planning
- Meet regularly with Evento leadership team
- Evento is a dynamic work environment and other responsibilities may arise, and while we strongly believe in a work life balance we also are looking for dedicated hardworking team members
Desired Experience
- 2+ years working in a commercial kitchen environment, must have experience making fresh pasta
- Preferred - experience leading groups in cooking classes
- Preferred - experience cooking for large groups at once
- Preferred - outgoing, strong communications skills and friendly
- Preferred - great attention to detail
- Preferred - interpersonal skills to communicate with clients
- Preferred - New York Food Handling License Certificate (we can help obtain this if you do not have it)
