Description Join Leidos as a
Lead Oracle APEX Developer with the ESA V program, dedicated to providing top-notch IT application and infrastructure services. You will work closely with various customers within the Department of Justice (DOJ), supporting an extensive range of IT services, including application support, infrastructure services, service desk management, ITSM, mobility engineering, and more. We seek a proactive problem-solver who excels at quickly understanding and meeting customer needs while effectively communicating requirements.
Work Location: This position is based in the Washington, DC metro area at one of our primary customer (CRM) locations for 32 hours per week while allowing 1 day for remote work.
Primary Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the program manager to oversee the complete development lifecycle of custom Oracle Applications, primarily leveraging the Oracle APEX toolset.
- Utilize advanced features of Oracle APEX 21 and above for innovative application development.
- Employ Oracle Integrated Development Environments like Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer for effective development.
- Design dynamic web content with modern web technologies such as JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Generate dynamic reports within the Oracle APEX environment and support advanced Oracle Database usage (version 11 and above).
- Manage and support various Oracle database objects - including tables, indexes, directories, and triggers.
- Implement PL/SQL, Java, Windows PowerShell, and Unix shell scripting with a robust understanding of PLSQL packages and procedures.
- Handle storage and manipulation of unstructured data like BLOBs, CLOBs, JSON, and XMLType in the Oracle ecosystem.
- Integrate BI Publisher templates and web services efficiently.
- Deliver enterprise-level, workflow-centric applications that enhance organizational processes.
- Create logical functions and algorithms to streamline business operations.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a High School diploma with additional years of experience and/or certifications.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a public trust security clearance.
- Proven experience in secure network programming within an Oracle environment.
- Extensive experience in the full lifecycle development of custom Oracle Applications using the APEX toolset.
- Proficient in Oracle Integrated Development Environments like Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer.
- Strong grasp of web technologies: JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, HTML.
- Well-versed in PL/SQL, Java, Windows PowerShell, and Unix shell scripting.
- Expertise in managing unstructured data within an Oracle framework.
- Track record of establishing goals and achieving project objectives.
- Experience in documentation of work products.
- Strong communication and teamwork capabilities, especially in agile development settings.
- Customer interaction experience is essential.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Oracle Database products version 11 and above.
- Familiarity with Oracle Forms and Reports version 10G or higher.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle APEX 4.0 and above.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues effectively.
- Prior government contracting experience, particularly with the DOJ, is a plus.
- Current DOJ Clearance is highly beneficial.

Pay Range: $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
