Description


  • Process Development and Optimization:

    • Design, implement, and enhance manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
    • Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and execute process improvements.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Lead projects focused on continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to eliminate waste and boost productivity.
    • Identify opportunities for automation and integrate suitable technologies to streamline operations.
    • Analyze production data to uncover trends and areas for enhancement.
  • Project Management:

    • Manage and execute engineering projects from inception to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and supply chain, to guarantee project success.
    • Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers as needed.
    • Facilitate operations and customer training while imparting technical support knowledge to Technical Service teams.
  • Technical Leadership:

    • Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
    • Conduct training sessions and workshops to elevate team skills and knowledge.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Quality Assurance:

    • Develop and implement quality control procedures to meet product specifications and standards.
    • Conduct root cause analysis and execute corrective actions for quality issues.
    • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to conduct audits and inspections.
  • Health and Safety:

    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all manufacturing processes.
    • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to mitigate hazards.
    • Foster a culture of safety within the manufacturing team.

Profile


  • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Medical Technical Service and/or training, with advanced expertise in medical devices, including QMS and document control knowledge.
  • Proficient in effective communication across all operational levels within the organization, as well as with suppliers and customers, demonstrating tact and diplomacy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of presenting recommendations and summarizing issues effectively.
  • Proven ability to mentor and inspire a high-performance technical service team while ensuring accountability for results.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines.

Job Offer

Competitive Base Salary of $100,000 to $140,000
