As a Lead Network Security Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and Engineering Solutions: Build and implement comprehensive network security architectures that provide robust protection while aligning with business needs.
- Strategic Security Roadmap: Establish a long-term security strategy that aligns with organizational objectives and integrates emerging technologies.
- Proactive Threat Mitigation: Identify and address security risks within network infrastructures to proactively defend against cyber threats.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Partner with IT, DevOps, and compliance teams to seamlessly integrate security measures while mentoring junior engineers.
- Standards Development: Formulate and uphold security policies, standards, and guidelines based on best practices and compliance requirements.
- Analytical Problem Solving: Analyze complex security challenges and devise integrated solutions to enhance the organization's security posture.
- Effective Communication: Utilize strong written and verbal communication to engage with stakeholders effectively.

- Basic Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in network security and architecture, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role within large enterprises.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCIE, CCNP Security or equivalent; cloud security certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) are a plus.
- Technical Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other network security tools.
- Experience with Zero Trust and hybrid cloud security solutions.
- Strong grasp of network protocols, encryption, and authentication methods.
- Familiarity with automation and IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strategic thinker who balances security and business objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with security frameworks (NIST, PCI DSS).
- 5+ years of experience leading cybersecurity incident responses.
