Lead Machine Learning Engineer (LLMs & Scalable Systems) Location: Remote-first (with 5 hours overlap with US Eastern Time)
Compensation: $200k base + equity + performance bonus

Key Responsibilities - Design, build, and deploy robust machine learning solutions utilizing LLMs and foundational models.
- Optimize embedding processes to enhance model performance and reduce runtime.
- Develop and maintain large-scale systems capable of delivering production-ready solutions.
- Conduct experiments and monitor model performance in live environments to ensure effectiveness.
- Utilize cloud platforms such as AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake for deployment and management of the ML lifecycle.
In the First 90 Days - Create predictive models based on demographic and behavioral data.
- Consolidate and enhance embedding pipelines for optimal performance.
- Significantly elevate model efficiency and streamline deployment workflows.
- Contribute to the development of next-generation features powered by LLM technology.
Ideal Candidate Profile - Substantial industry experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence, or a related field.
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or a comparable discipline.
- Extensive experience with LLMs, foundational models, and libraries such as Hugging Face.
- Proficient in writing high-quality, production-level code with experience in performance monitoring and testing.
- Strong skills in object-oriented programming and working with APIs (REST, GraphQL, gRPC, etc.).
- A background in large-scale system development is essential.
- Previous experience in advertising or mentoring junior engineers is a plus.
