Lead Leasing Specialist

Salary: $67,486 - $92,867 USD per year



General Description:

The Lead Leasing Specialist will oversee property and land acquisition activities, manage lease negotiations, and ensure effective tenant and property owner relationship management for our client. This role involves providing legal oversight, resolving complex issues, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The Lead Leasing Specialist will maximize the value of real estate assets while supporting the organization's mission.



Essential Functions:

  • Negotiate, draft, and manage lease agreements, amendments, and renewals.

  • Conduct lease analysis to ensure compliance with financial, legal, and regulatory standards.

  • Identify and evaluate properties for acquisition to support operational needs.

  • Coordinate due diligence processes, including appraisals, environmental assessments, and title reviews.

  • Serve as the primary contact for tenants and property owners, addressing inquiries and resolving disputes.

  • Monitor tenant compliance with lease terms and policies.

  • Collaborate with legal counsel on property transactions and dispute resolution.

  • Maintain accurate records of leasing activities and prepare reports on property performance.



Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.

  • 5 years of experience in leasing, property management, real estate operations, or lease negotiations. Relevant experience may substitute education on a year-for-year basis, up to 4 years.

  • Master's degree, Certified Property Manager (CPM), or Texas Real Estate License preferred.



Additional Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of real estate principles, lease agreements, and property acquisition processes.

  • Familiarity with the Texas Property Code, Uniform Act, and relevant regulations.

  • Ability to resolve complex property and leasing issues effectively.

  • Financial acumen to analyze lease terms and assess market conditions.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
