Enterprise Operations Department is hiring a
Lead, Learning Content Developer to design and implement engaging, gamified, and decision-based learning strategies within the Enterprise Operations learning and development program. The role works across departments and partners with Subject Matter Experts and Learning Content Developers to create a learning blueprint and learning content that meets performance and organizational objectives. The Lead, Learning Content Developer's deliverables include the creation of learning assets such as action maps, learning objectives, outlines, storyboards, ILT material, simulations, learning games, and other learning content.

This is your opportunity to support and provide guidance to the Learning and Performance team members in the use of new technology and design techniques and uses a combination of project management and learning content design skills to increase user engagement, motivation and knowledge retention in training modules.
As a Lead, Learning Content Developer, your responsibilities will include: - Analyzing training objectives and determining which areas can benefit most from gamification techniques.
- Developing compelling narratives within the gamified learning experience to enhance engagement and immersion.
- Ensuring the gamified learning environment is intuitive and user-friendly, with clear visual cues and feedback mechanisms.
- Tracking learner progress, analyzing engagement metrics, and measuring performance improvement to determine the effectiveness of learning strategies.
- Planning, executing, and monitoring learning projects within timelines and budgets.
- Using graphics and multimedia to design visually engaging learning content.
- Establishing standardized processes and templates for consistent and scalable learning solutions.
- Reviewing and testing new and revised curriculum offerings from other team members, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement; contributing to new curriculum or program ideas.
- Staying up to date in learning and performance trends, as well as trends in Enterprise Operations and the insurance industry.
- Analyzing and identifying trends in feedback that indicate learning content successfully addresses root causes and immediate needs.
- Taking ownership of and periodically reviewing (library) content to ensure that it maintains relevance and accuracy/quality of content (make sure library is current and accurate) and initiating corrective actions as needed.
The Lead, Learning Content Developer position is well-suited for you if you: - Apply training theories and principles, including applied behavioral science, adult learning theory, and/or established industry models of evaluation. Including, gamification theories and principles to increase engagement.
- Use creativity to systems training, gamification, microlearning, and other approaches to course design.
- Have proficiency in performance analysis, learning needs assessment, the design and development of learning and performance support solutions, and evaluating program effectiveness.
- Possess outstanding interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building.
- Hold a consultative approach to conduct action mapping and/or other forms of training needs analysis.
- Can translate complex concepts and ideas and convey them in a simple, easy-to-understand format and flow.
- Interpret data on user engagement and performance to enhance learning strategies.
- Have strong project management skills and attention to detail while also able to see overall picture.
- Are skilled at working productively on multiple projects, while meeting tight deadlines in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Engage and develop collaborative, productive relationships within teams and with key stakeholders.
What you'll need: - Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Gamification, Psychology, or equivalent.
- Five years of instructional design experience, including e-learning development, curriculum design, and/or content creation; previous experience with gamification techniques to drive engagement and improve learning outcomes.
