As the Lead IT Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing our IT support operations, managing a team of technicians, and ensuring the smooth functioning of our organization's IT infrastructure.
- Lead and mentor a team of IT technicians, providing guidance and support in resolving complex technical issues
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize system performance and security
- Manage and prioritize IT support tickets, ensuring timely resolution of issues
- Oversee the maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network systems
- Collaborate with other departments to identify IT needs and implement appropriate solutions
- Conduct regular system audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with security standards
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing improvements as needed
- Manage IT projects, including planning, resource allocation, and execution
- Provide technical expertise and escalation support for complex IT issues

Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in IT support or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud computing platforms
- Strong proficiency in network administration and security protocols
- Expertise in troubleshooting hardware and software issues across various platforms
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a proven track record of developing team members
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, MCSE, or CCNA
- In-depth understanding of IT service management principles and best practices
- Proficiency in implementing and maintaining IT security measures
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies

This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience.
