Your Responsibilities: - Design and develop iOS applications that align with product strategies, adhering to engineering best practices and design guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers and product owners, to create high-quality customer experiences that are simple yet impactful.
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies, contributing to the timely delivery of commitments with excellence.
- Champion the mobile platform within the engineering community, both internally and externally.
- Continuously learn and stay updated on mobile development technologies, including Swift, Kotlin, and various third-party libraries.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth.
- Lead the delivery of major components and collaborate closely with senior engineers and architects.
- Proactively identify technical obstacles, working collaboratively with your team to devise creative solutions.
- Review pull requests to ensure familiarity with Swift and uphold coding standards.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years in software engineering (non-internship experience).
- At least 2 years of experience in building iOS applications.
- A minimum of 2 years working with Swift.
Preferred Qualifications: - Over 3 years of experience in developing iOS applications.
- More than 3 years of experience with Swift.
- Experience with open-source frameworks for at least 1 year.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies for over 1 year.
This position does not offer sponsorship for employment authorization, and is open to candidates within the U.S. The role is based in McLean, VA, with a salary range of $158,600 - $181,000 for Senior Software Engineers. Additionally, incentives may include cash bonuses or long-term compensation.
