About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-savvy Lead Generation Database Manager to take ownership of our prospecting infrastructure and fuel our sales pipeline. This individual will be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality B2B lead databases using platforms like Apollo, ZoomInfo, Gong, and Salesforce. You'll work closely with our sales and marketing teams to ensure we consistently reach the right decision-makers with the right messaging at the right time.
Responsibilities
- Lead Sourcing & Database Management
- Use platforms like Apollo, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify and compile targeted lists of B2B prospects based on ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) criteria.
- Maintain and regularly update lead data in Salesforce, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper segmentation.
- Manage and enforce data hygiene best practices across lead records, deduplicating entries, and resolving inconsistencies.
Collaboration & Campaign Support
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align on lead targeting strategy and segmentation.
- Partner with SDRs and AEs to ensure the lead database supports outbound sequences, email campaigns, and call lists.
- Monitor the performance of lead lists and optimize based on campaign results and feedback from sales.
System Integration & Automation
- Ensure proper integration and syncing between tools like Gong, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and Apollo.
- Help optimize workflows for data enrichment, lead scoring, and routing.
- Analytics & Reporting
- Generate reports on lead volume, quality, and conversion rates.
- Track database growth and identify gaps or areas of opportunity for better targeting.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in a lead generation, sales operations, or data management role within a B2B environment.
- Proficient in Apollo, ZoomInfo, Salesforce, and ideally Gong.
- Strong understanding of lead segmentation, ICPs, and data enrichment strategies.
- Experience working with marketing automation and CRM platforms.
- Analytical mindset with strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting outbound sales teams (SDRs, BDRs, AEs).
- Familiarity with sales engagement tools like ZoomInfo, Apollo, Salesforce, Gong, or HubSpot.
- Knowledge of GDPR and CAN-SPAM compliance as it relates to prospecting data.
