As a Lead Full Stack Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving significant transformations within our organization. Here's what you will be doing:
- Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, implement, and support cutting-edge full-stack technical solutions.
- Stay abreast of tech trends and engage in experimenting with new technologies, while mentoring fellow engineers.
- Work closely with digital product managers to create robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans in their financial journeys.
- Utilize programming languages and tools such as JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, along with open-source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, container orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS tools.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience (internship experience does not count)
Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years of expertise in JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
- 1+ year of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or similar cloud services
- 3+ years working with open-source frameworks
- 2+ years engaged in Agile practices

This role is located in McLean, VA, with a salary range of $158,600 - $181,000 or Richmond, VA at $144,200 - $164,600 for this position. Compensation includes potential performance-based incentives.
