What You'll Do: - Work in tandem with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support cutting-edge technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies.
- Stay on the forefront of technology trends while experimenting with and embracing new tools, contributing to internal and external tech communities, and mentoring fellow engineers.
- Partner with digital product managers to deliver impactful cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans in their financial journeys.
- Utilize your expertise in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, along with knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL databases, container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS tools and services.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree.
- At least 3 years of experience in software engineering (internship experience is not applicable).
Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following languages: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.
- 1+ years of experience working with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service.
- 3+ years of experience with open source frameworks.
- 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies.
This position does not offer sponsorship for employment authorization or immigration-related support. The salary range for this role varies based on location. In McLean, VA, it is $158,600 - $181,000, and in Richmond, VA, it is $144,200 - $164,600.
Incentive compensation, including a cash bonus and/or long-term incentives, is also available depending on performance.
