What You'll Do: - Collaborate with a talented team of developers adept in distributed microservices and full stack systems.
- Contribute to the development of Front End Applications while applying a test-driven development approach.
- Take ownership of the technical design and development for cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
- Stay ahead of tech trends, actively experiment with new technologies, engage in tech communities, and mentor peers in the engineering field.
- Work closely with digital product managers to deliver powerful cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans financially.
- Utilize modern programming languages such as JavaScript (Angular, React, Node), HTML/CSS, TypeScript, and Java, along with open source frameworks and RESTful web services, ensuring compatibility across various browsers and devices.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience (internship experience does not count).
Preferred Qualifications: - Over 5 years of experience in one or more of the following: JavaScript, React, Angular, Node, TypeScript, or Java.
- At least 1 year of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.
- 3+ years of experience working with open source frameworks.
- 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies.

The anticipated salary range for this role in Richmond, VA is $144,200 - $164,600. This salary represents the range of what Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. The actual salary offered will be reflected in the candidate's offer letter.
