Job Details

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of facility operations, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, structural maintenance, and utilities

Coordinate and execute preventative maintenance schedules

Supervise third-party contractors and vendors

Work closely with sanitation, QA, and production teams to ensure the facility meets USDA, OSHA, and food safety regulations

Respond to urgent repairs or maintenance issues and coordinate timely resolution

Monitor equipment and infrastructure to reduce breakdowns and prolong asset life

Manage work orders, maintenance logs, and documentation of repairs

Support capital improvement projects and facility upgrades

Conduct regular inspections and safety checks

Ensure proper function of waste systems, refrigeration, compressed air, and water systems

Qualifications

5+ years of facilities maintenance experience, ideally in food manufacturing

Strong knowledge of building systems: electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing

Experience working in USDA or FDA-regulated environments preferred

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals

Working knowledge of CMMS or other maintenance tracking systems

Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
