Lead Esthetician, Operations

Description of the function in the company

Your job in the company is to monitor, mentor, and coach your team of Estheticians.
Your job also involves working with Marketing and People Operations.

Along with the rest of the team, you are part of creating the 4 business outcomes we strive for:

  3. Productivity, creating movement and efficiency within our systems
  4. Profitability, creating growth for the company and forward movement for our team members.

Areas of Responsibility
  • Monitoring individual esthetician critical numbers on a monthly basis.
    • 1:1 tactical meetings with teammates
      • Prioritizing critical numbers and creating a coaching strategy for the month per individual.
      • Working with the trainer if anyone needs additional education and/or support training.
        • Documentation of submissions to trainer
  • Monitoring location critical numbers and goals
    • Working with marketing and client coordinators based on needs to meet goals for the month
    • Monitoring productivity
      • Triggering hiring process when location productivity reaches our benchmarks.
      • Distributing work based on productivity within our benchmarks.
  • Ensuring all huddles are strategic and the team is being held accountable for results of the huddles.
  • Ensuring proper cleanliness of esthetic stations and equipment
  • Provide 'white glove' service to clients and hold your team accountable in doing the same.
  • Understanding, acceptance, & communication of company policies and procedures.
Management and Scope
  • Individual critical numbers and mentoring/coaching action plans.
  • Location strategy needed to meet goals for the month and the outcome of that strategy.
  • Location critical numbers.
  • Update hours for sale in the coming months scoreboard
  • Projects and action items for coaching purposes based on needs.

You will prioritize, plan, and coordinate your tasks with the following colleagues on an ongoing basis:
  • Marketing
  • Lead estheticians from other locations
  • Trainer/educators
  • People Operations
Goals

In the short run your goal is to increase individual and location critical numbers.

In the medium run your goal is to make your fellow estheticians feel supported.

In the long run your goal is to provide efficiency within our critical number and goal systems and to keep The Facial Bar estheticians at the top of their game.

Development Opportunities

Your internal training plan will include working closely with the owner and area manager for leadership and mentoring/coaching skills.

In an environment such as ours, your path to grow in the company is directly related to the overall growth of the company itself. Eligibility for application and requirements for the holding position
  • 2-3 years of hands on esthetics experience
  • Management experience preferred
  • To continue holding the position, your critical numbers cannot drop below standard more than 3 times in any 6 month period.
  • 6 month trial period will begin upon acceptance of the position. Continuation/Permanence of role will be evaluated at this time.
