The GEOAxIS system is pivotal for Identity, Credential, and Access Management for our web applications, enabling seamless, on-demand access to NGA GEOINT content based on authoritative user attributes and roles. Our mission is to ensure highly available ICAM services that safeguard critical applications across all security domains.

Your Role and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic enterprise architecture initiatives that align with IC agency missions and operational goals.
  • Engage in regular communication with government partners to grasp requirements, operational priorities, performance metrics, and support services.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify future capability needs and interoperability requirements.
  • Provide robust technical leadership for integrating design requirements and technology, ensuring broad compatibility and interoperability within the enterprise.
  • Conduct systems engineering analyses to propose enhancements and optimize overall system performance.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for architecture and engineering initiatives, including service transition plans and CONOPs.
  • Facilitate collaboration between customer workgroups and mission partners to collectively address enterprise solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 12-15 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 10 years of relevant experience in system architecture.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
  • Proven expertise in designing Zero Trust ICAM solutions and architecture.
  • At least five years of experience creating ICAM RESTful and/or SOAP services.
  • Three years of demonstrated experience applying agile methodologies for capability integration and design.
  • In-depth knowledge of IC ICAM standards and implementation guidance.
  • Experience delivering alpha and beta quality code to government clients within one month, and production-quality code within three months.
  • Hands-on experience with server-side RESTful and SOAP web service development, as well as knowledge of JAVA Services, and test-based development.
  • Familiarity with client-side user interface development and Human Computer Interaction (HCI) principles.
  • Experience with JavaScript, Ozone Widget Framework, and Microsoft SharePoint 2016 or higher.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Chantilly, VA, at least four days a week, with some travel to Reston and/or Springfield, VA, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Expertise in designing software and mission IT systems, including architecture best practices.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills with keen attention to detail.
