I am seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Engineer to join one of our prestigious clients' sites. In this role, based in The City of London, you will primarily oversee maintenance tasks across a large critical complex of buildings. You will spend your day focusing on leadership and seniority duties, with the flexibility to perform hands-on PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance tasks on M&E and building systems.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day activities within the engineering team and contractors, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Perform delegated PPM and reactive maintenance tasks when required, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
- Monitor and track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds contract requirements.
- Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met, taking proactive measures to address any issues.
- Manage and enforce RAMs (Risk Assessment Method Statements) and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure maintenance tasks are performed to the highest standards and within compliance guidelines.

Requirements:
- SC clearance
- Proven experience in a similar M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) maintenance leadership role.
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical discipline
- Knowledge of PPM, reactive maintenance, and M&E systems.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
