The Lead Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) plays a critical leadership role in supporting and managing the Fire Department s fleet operations, and supports fleet maintenance activities for all Departments. Under the general supervision of the Fleet Services Manager, this position oversees EVT personnel, ensures high standards of maintenance and repair for fire apparatus, ambulances and equipment and helps drive the success of the fleet services program.
In addition to supervisory responsibilities, this role involves hands-on diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs, along with effective coordination, scheduling and administrative support. Additional related duties may be assigned as needed.
