As the Product Manager of DevOps within the Enterprise Engineering Enablement organization, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the product maturity of DevOps and Developer platform ecosystem across three unique tech stacks: open systems, mainframe, and Salesforce.

The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of product management experience and technical expertise in DevOps practices. You will be responsible for driving the vision and strategy for our DevOps platform(s), ensuring that our software engineers can deliver high-quality solutions for our customers. With a focus on collaboration and innovation, you will work across organizational boundaries, engaging with stakeholders in DevSecOps, Quality, and Infrastructure Automation to create a cohesive delivery experience.

Required Qualifications
  • You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • You possess 5+ years of product management or owner experience within a technical domain
  • You have a strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, and can articulate their value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • You have experience managing product roadmaps and prioritizing feature development based on customer and business needs
  • You are proficient in working with enterprise-grade engineering platforms, such as Azure DevOps Services, GitHub, SonarQube, and Artifactory
  • You understand cloud technologies, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and emerging DevOps trends like 'GitOps' and pull-based deployment technologies
  • You have understand progressive deployment automation strategies, such as feature flags, canary releases, and blue/green deployments
  • You are familiar with DORA metrics and understand how improving them can lead to successful DevOps outcomes.
  • You have a track record of collaborating effectively with engineering teams to ensure successful product delivery
  • You are a strong communicator, capable of presenting complex ideas in a clear and concise manner to senior leadership.
  • You are detail-oriented and possess the ability to set and deliver on outcome-oriented goals
Preferred Qualifications
  • You hold a Master's degree
  • You used to be a software or DevOps engineer, but decided to put down your IDE and focus on product development instead (double bonus points if you're still able to sling a little code from time to time)
  • You understand the role of AI in transforming software engineering processes and are passionate about integrating new capabilities into developer workflows

Reporting Information
  • You will report to the Director of Enterprise DevOps and Enterprise Engineering Enablement.
  • You will be part of the Enterprise Engineering Services organization, within the L3 Engineering organization of Technology Strategy.

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:

At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.

Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$126,300 - $173,700 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
