Your Role
As a Lead Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines using Azure Services
• Building a cutting-edge data lake to meet evolving business needs
• Leading the evaluation and implementation of emerging technologies to modernize the data platform
• Collaborating with analysts and architects to design technical architectures for complex data initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Expertise in designing and managing data pipelines, storage, and compute components
• Hands-on experience deploying modern data solutions using Azure components (Azure Functions, Data Factory, Data Lake, SQL, Synapse, Streaming Analytics, etc.)
• Strong understanding of Data Lake architectures and ETL/ELT processes
• Experience with tools like PLSQL, Spark, PySpark, Python, and Pandas
• Proficiency in DevOps tools (Azure DevOps) and experience modernizing Hadoop and Teradata data warehouses

You MUST Have

• Expertise in Azure DevOps or similar tools
• Deep knowledge of Data Lake architectures and data platform strategies
• Strong background in cutting-edge data analytics

Experience

• BS or MS degree with 5+ years of data engineering/analytics experience
• Proven leadership abilities
