Rate Range: Up to$100/hr on W2 depending on experience (no C2C or 1099 or sub-contract)

Position Summary: We are looking for an experienced and strategic
Lead Data Analyst to join a high-impact analytics team supporting digital product and technology initiatives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on data expert with a deep understanding of experimentation, user behavior analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities: - User Behavior Insights: Analyze user navigation, engagement patterns, and cohort data to uncover meaningful trends and opportunities for product optimization.
- Experimentation Leadership: Independently design, execute, and interpret A/B tests to assess product features, engagement strategies, and experience improvements.
- Strategic Decision Support: Present actionable insights that balance business objectives with user satisfaction to guide product and technical teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a key analytics partner across Product, Technology, Data Engineering, and Data Product teams.
- End-to-End Project Ownership: Manage analytics initiatives from scoping and hypothesis development to final insight delivery.
- Dashboard Development: Build interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Looker, and LookML to monitor KPIs, track experiments, and guide ongoing strategy.
Must-Have Qualifications: - 7+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related discipline
- Strong command of A/B testing methodologies and statistical interpretation
- Advanced SQL skills for querying and transforming large datasets
- Expertise in Tableau, Looker, and LookML
- Proficiency with Python or R for statistical analysis and experimentation
- Ability to present complex findings in a clear, compelling manner to stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated capability to lead complex analytics projects independently
- Familiarity with modern data warehousing concepts and platforms
Preferred Qualifications: - Advanced degree in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience working in digital product, media, or streaming environments
- Strong ability to flag and escalate data quality or insight challenges to leadership
- Highly motivated, curious, and eager to learn in a data-centric environment
Education: - Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Maths, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field required
- Master's degree preferred
