Your Responsibilities on the Team - Oversee the entire data analysis function within the department, setting strategic direction and priorities.
- Drive innovation in data analysis practices, staying ahead of industry trends and technologies.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the data analysis team and senior leadership.
- Lead the development and execution of the department's data strategy.
- Manage and mentor a team of data analysts, ensuring their professional growth and alignment with business goals.
- Lead initiatives to improve data infrastructure and processes across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow to deliver actionable insights.
- Partner closely with corporate accounting, tax, treasury, FP&A, and internal audit departments to ensure accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in financial reporting.
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize financial performance and reporting processes.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to senior management and cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in financial analytics, with a strong emphasis on P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with corporate accounting, tax, treasury, FP&A, and internal audit teams.
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly present complex financial information.
- Proven ability to lead projects and initiatives independently, as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills: - Certification such as CFA, CPA, or CMA.
- Familiarity with financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Hyperion).
- Experience in data modeling, forecasting, and advanced analytics methodologies.
- Proficiency in SQL and understanding of data warehousing concepts.
