Description Leidos is on the lookout for a
Lead Cyber Infrastructure Engineer to enhance the capabilities of the United States Space Force (USSF). In this vital role, you will develop innovative software solutions that support Space Systems Command (SSC) Cyber Operations Branch in swiftly creating defensive measures against cyber threats targeting ground and space assets. We seek a proactive leader and effective problem-solver, ready to contribute to a high-performance team in a dynamic setting.
Primary Responsibilities: - Oversee the installation, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of wide-area networks (WANs) and local-area networks (LANs) across the agency.
- Contribute to the design and management of WAN infrastructure and relevant processes.
- Provide comprehensive support for network operations, including day-to-day monitoring and resolving issues within client networks. Offer second-level assessment, diagnosis, and problem-solving expertise.
- Coordinate with circuit and hardware vendors to facilitate timely resolutions.
- Manage status updates and clear communications to agency management and internal stakeholders.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of various software systems and architectures, communication protocols, and network hardware.
Basic Qualifications: - US Citizen
- Must hold an active DoD Secret Clearance
- Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field with 10 years of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree in the same fields with 8 years of relevant experience.
- Must have current CCNA, Security+, or CCDE certification.
Preferred Qualifications: - A Top Secret (TS) security clearance, including SCI and SAP eligibility, is highly desirable.
