The Information Assurance Engineer will focus on integrating information security and risk management into the system development lifecycles. This position will be responsible for working with Network Administration and System Administration teams to ensure operational security of DoD networks and systems. Duties & Responsibilities: Install, configure, administer and maintain DoD information assurance and cyber security tools
Monitor systems for security, appropriate access per authorization and configuration integrity
Conduct vulnerability scans of software, systems and networks
All other duties as assigned Qualifications: An Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of 6 year of relevant technical experience
ACAS and HBSS/ESS experience
RMF familiarity/ATO package experience
Active Secret Clearance at employment start date (an Active Interim Secret Clearance may substitute)
DoD 8570 IAT-II Certification (e.g. Security+ CE, CCNA Security or other approved certifications) This job description lists the major duties and requirements of the job and is not all-inclusive. Reorg, needs a cyber lead and be a SME is HBSS, ACAS, RMF The GITSS contract vehicle is used by federal agencies, including the Department of Defense, to procure IT services such as:
Network and systems administration
Cybersecurity
Software development
