Overview The Lead Cook at Marriott Fort Lauderdale North will assist with planning and execution of the daily production, preparation, and presentation of all food for the hotel in a safe, sanitary work environment which conforms to all standards and regulations and achieves profitable competitive quality products.
Qualifications - 2-4 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Solid understanding of kitchen operations, including food prep, cooking methods, and portion control.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to manage a station independently and work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Proven ability to work in a high-volume, high-pressure setting with banquet events.
- Food Handler's Certifications.
- Flexibility in Shifts and Scheduling, be available to work any assigned shift or work schedule but primarily PM shift for now, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to meeting the needs of the kitchen and restaurant.

Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $19.00/Hr. - $21.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
