Responsibilities
- Food preparation:Wash, chop, and marinate ingredients
- Cooking:Bake, fry, grill, and boil food
- Food safety:Follow food safety and sanitation regulations
- Kitchen maintenance:Clean workspaces, utensils, and dishes
- Food storage:Manage food storage and stock levels
- Menu planning:Help plan menus and order ingredients
- Recipe selection:Select and follow recipes
- Dietary needs:Adjust recipes to meet special dietary requirements
- Presentation:Present attractive, garnished dishes
- Communication:Liaise with wait staff and management
Must have culinary experience, professional demeanor and ability to work in a fast paced environment. Must be able to follow instructions and lead with limited direction. Must be able to follow all food safety guidelines and regulations.
