Your Main Objective:

We seek a talented Network Engineer who will manage networking, telephony, VoIP, and video conferencing (VTC) across our headquarters and field sites. You will be a vital part of our broader Network team, leading projects in creating, implementing, and maintaining our global WAN/LAN network infrastructure. The role is integral to a mission-critical program with high visibility and a successful track record, supporting multiple organizations from a central location with no travel requirements.

What Sets You Apart:

We are looking for someone with extensive experience in deploying, maintaining, and operating large-scale data networks. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with common network devices (switches, routers, patch panels, etc.), videoconferencing (VTC) endpoints, core VTC equipment, VoIP implementation, and telephony. Specific tools used in this position include Cisco Call Manager and Cisco Meeting Server.

To be successful, you must possess a polygraph clearance, have at least 10 years of network engineering experience in similar programs, and hold a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college (or have 5 years of relevant experience in place of the degree).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in all aspects of network management from design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks.
  • Analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues, and provide solutions to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Monitor network and telecommunications performance, responding to anomalies according to established procedures.
  • Assist in deploying VoIP, Video teleconferencing (VTC), and traditional telephone systems (POTS).
  • Interface with network operations centers of external providers when necessary.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of network services and protocols such as TCP/IP, OSPF, and EIGRP, along with practical knowledge of networking systems such as LANs, firewalls, routers, and printers.
  • Clearly communicate technical information to both technical peers and non-technical team members.
  • Install and configure new network and telecommunications hardware and software.
  • Create and maintain documentation for network telecommunications systems diagrams and configurations.
Certifications:

The candidate must currently possess and maintain one of the following certifications:
  • Network+ or;
  • CCNA Routing & Switching or;
  • CCNA Security or;
  • CCNA Video or;
  • any equivalent certification as approved.
  • Must obtain certification before contract acceptance.

Pay Range: Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
