Lead CNC Programmer

Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Lead CNC Programmer / Tool Maker in Coldwater.

This is a long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity working 1st shift. The annual salary is $65k+/year, depending on experience.

We are looking for a highly experienced individual to fill a lead role that combines tool making, programming and managing production schedules. The ideal candidate will be able to manage projects from start to finish-taking an idea from blueprint to completed product.

Key Responsibilities:
CNC Machining & Toolmaking:
o Design, build, and modify tooling, jigs, and fixtures to meet each job's specific needs.
o Troubleshoot and resolve complex machining issues to ensure exceptional quality.

Programming:
o Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs using software such as Camworks, SolidWorks, and equivalent.
o Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to create accurate and efficient machining instructions.

Collaboration:
o Collaborate with engineers to understand project specifications, provide feedback on tooling needs and process improvements
o Provide feedback on design feasibility, tooling needs, and process improvements.

Qualifications:
-Extensive experience in operating CNC machinery, designing tooling, and developing programs.
-High level CNC machine programing, problem-solving skills with comprehensive knowledge of machining materials, tool wear, and maintenance practices.
