Your impactful journey starts here. The Multi-domain Solutions Division (MDS) is inviting applications for a talented Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer to support a crucial cybersecurity program. In this role, you will be instrumental in the development, integration, delivery, and operation of IT-managed security services, focusing on monitoring cybersecurity threats and enhancing security posture for an enterprise environment. This role is in anticipation of a future contract award.
Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, implementing, and optimizing robust, secure, and scalable cloud solutions.
- Utilizing extensive experience in cloud architecture, automation, and security across various platforms.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to encourage cloud adoption and improve operational efficiency.
- Designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Developing and implementing cloud automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and CI/CD pipelines through tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Optimizing cloud environments for cost efficiency, performance, and security compliance.
- Implementing stringent cloud security measures, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001).
- Supporting cloud migration projects, encompassing application modernization and hybrid-cloud integrations.
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and enhancing cloud performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Working closely with DevOps, cybersecurity, and development teams to refine cloud-based solutions.
- Staying abreast of emerging cloud technologies and recommending improvements for continuous advancement.
- Mentoring junior engineers and providing valuable insights on cloud best practices.
What we need from you: - Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance is required. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Master's degree with 15 to 20 years of relevant experience or Doctorate with 13 to 16 years of experience. Relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
It's a plus if you have: - Security+ or other IAT I certifications.
