We are seeking an experienced Lead Cloud Engineer to join our team in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based architecture including on-premise and cloud networking infrastructure and platforms with specific experience in Microsoft Azure, Windows Server Administration and Networking.

Essential Functions, Duties & Accountabilities - Maintain and build scalable, reliable, and secure Azure-based solutions including responsibility for the design/planning, management, support, and oversight of the azure infrastructure, services, and hybrid networking environment.
- Implement and manage Azure security best practices, including identity and access management, firewalls, policies, and compliance frameworks.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and logging using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics as well as integrating 3rd party tools.
- Optimize Azure resources for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.
- Maintain and optimize on-premises network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and SD-WAN appliances.
- Migration of on-prem servers and resources to azure environments.
- Ensure business continuity through backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies.
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting of Azure environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize build, release, and deployment workflows in Azure.
- Maintain documentation, technical standards, and governance policies for cloud environments.
- Staying updated with industry trends and best practices in cloud engineering.

Requirements Educational Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; alternately, equivalent experience in a relevant role
Experience and Skills - 4 years of relevant experience in azure infrastructure and operations.
- Strong experience in Azure Virtual Networks, Azure Storage, Azure AD, and Compute Services.
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments and on-premises integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or ARM Templates
- Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub.
- Experience in networking including Firewalls, SD-WAN, Network and Wireless hardware, site-to-site VPN, subnetting, vnets, routing, and DNS
- Experience with firewall rules, ACLs, IPS/IDS, and Zero Trust security models.
- Knowledge of serverless computing (Azure Functions, Logic Apps).
- Experience with observability tools like New Relic.
- Experience with DevOps practices, agile methodologies, and collaboration tools.
- Certifications in relevant technologies such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Cloud Engineer or other industry-standard certifications would be beneficial.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to evolving requirements.
