Pay: $36.19 - $54.28 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
Summary:
The Behavioral Health Service Line is seeking an experienced and independently licensed clinician to drive Zero Suicide initiatives in the metro region. This individual will collaborate with Zero Suicide Coordinators in the other regions to ensure a cohesive approach to Zero Suicide, will coordinate trainings, meetings and presentations with various stakeholders, will organize community engagement opportunities and partner with a variety of leaders at UCHealth to provide support around roll-outs. This clinician will be in charge of data review and reporting and tasked with being an expert on Zero Suicide programs and policies, to ensure our patients are receiving safe, quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Performs responsibilities of underlying job. Takes responsibility for, or provides guidance to team members on, the handling of complex or novel issues.
- Provides mentoring, monitoring, coaching, and evaluation of team members' performance, especially in the areas of productivity and quality management. Serves as a positive role model for team members by working with them to promote teamwork and cooperation.
- Assists with the development, implementation, and evaluation of departmental policies and procedures. Assists with coordinating services, prioritizing assignments, and workflow, and promoting situational decision-making/problem solving.
- Analyzes patient safety trends and provides support to clinical and operational teams. Identifies key clinical quality and patient safety measures. Promotes the use of appropriate measures for clinical services.
- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- State licensure as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Addiction Counselor (ACD), or other licensure/certification may be acceptable as approved by department leadership.
- 2 years of experience in a behavioral health setting providing direct patient care.
