Lead Behavioral Health Specialist Location: El Centro, California Starting Salary : $96,000/annual (W2) or $60/hour (1099) Incentives: Sign-on Bonus or Housing Assistance May Be Available (If Eligible) Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose), is seeking an Onsite Lead Behavioral Health Specialist in El Centro, CA , to support children in DHS care along the U.S. Southwest Border. About the Role: As the Lead Behavioral Health Specialist, you will provide trauma-informed care, professional guidance, and programmatic support to ensure the well-being of children in DHS care. You will serve as the primary point of contact for CBP leadership, manage a team of Child Well-Being Specialists, and collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance child protection services. Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership, supervision, and professional guidance to Child Well-Being Specialists. Serve as the primary liaison between CBP leadership, DHS headquarters, and program teams. Support decision-making for child well-being concerns, including special case advising. Coordinate staffing allocation and surge deployment as necessary. Engage with local, state, and federal agencies to facilitate care coordination. Oversee training, performance reviews, and program evaluations. Assist in process improvement initiatives and policy development. Qualifications: Master's or Doctoral degree in behavioral health. Full, current, and unrestricted license in one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or LICSW) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Psychologist (LP) 5+ years post-licensure experience in child development, trauma-informed care, and clinical evaluations. 2+ years of management experience supervising staff in a healthcare or social services setting. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred (minimum ILR 3/5 or equivalent). Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving program needs. Why Join Us?
