Lead Behavioral Health Specialist Location: El Paso, Texas Make an Impact Where It Matters Most Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking Lead Behavioral Health Specialists to support the behavioral and emotional well-being of children in DHS custody at federal processing centers in El Paso, TX. In this leadership role, you will guide clinical teams, liaise with federal leadership, and ensure high-quality, trauma-informed care in a dynamic and high-stakes environment. What You'll Do As a Lead Behavioral Health Specialist, you will provide clinical oversight, operational leadership, and strategic support to a team of Child Well-Being Specialists. You will be responsible for coordinating behavioral health services, managing escalated cases, and collaborating with DHS and partner agencies to deliver child-centered care. Core Responsibilities Supervise and provide clinical leadership to Child Well-Being Specialists Act as the primary liaison between CBP leadership, DHS headquarters, and care teams Guide decision-making for complex and sensitive child well-being cases Manage staffing assignments, shift coverage, and surge support as needed Facilitate coordination with healthcare providers, NGOs, and government partners Oversee performance management, training, and team development Lead process improvements and contribute to policy and program design Schedule & Shift Details This is a full-time, on-site leadership role with a flexible and responsive schedule: Daily commitment: 8 hours onsite + 4 hours on-call (as needed) Rotating coverage may include weekends, holidays, and night/week availability Must be able to return onsite during on-call hours if required Requirements Master's or Doctoral degree in a behavioral health field Active, unrestricted license as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LICSW) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Psychologist (LP) Minimum 5 years of post-licensure experience in: Child development Trauma-informed care Clinical evaluation Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in healthcare or social services Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred (minimum ILR 3/5 or equivalent) Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to lead in a fast-paced, evolving care environment Why Join Blue Rose?
