Your Key Responsibilities: - Work collaboratively across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and deliver comprehensive technical solutions using full-stack development tools.
- Stay ahead of tech trends, experiment with new technologies, and contribute to both internal and external tech communities while mentoring fellow engineers.
- Team up with digital product managers to develop robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans in their financial journeys.
- Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, alongside open-source databases and various AWS services.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience (excludes internships)
Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience with at least one of the following: Java, Scala, Python, Go
- 1+ years of experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- 3+ years of experience in open-source frameworks
- 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies
Salary Information: The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed as follows. Please note that this salary information is specific to candidates hired for this position in McLean, VA, and represents the amount Capital One is willing to pay at this time: $158,600 - $181,000 for Senior Software Engineer. Hired candidates in other locations will be subject to their associated pay ranges.
