POSITION TITLE:
Lead Aide II (Pediatrics) POSITION REPORTS TO: Direct report to Assistant Program Supervisor, (indirect report to Program Supervisor I-III, Director of Pediatrics, and Senior Director of Pediatrics)
POSITION DIRECTLY SUPERVISES: Behavioral Aides I-II
PURPOSE OF POSITION: The purpose of the position is to work closely with district teachers and Point Quest behavioral aides to support them in their duties providing behavioral support to students, while also maintaining documentation and recordkeeping of services provided.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Academic & Behavioral Support
- Assists the teacher with implementing the students' Individual Education Plans (IEP)
- Able to understand and implement a BIP
- Provides instructional support in content areas, as directed by the teacher
- Participate in, and/or facilitate recreational activities of various sorts (i.e. athletic, arts, and crafts, off-campus trips, cultural awareness, etc.).
- Implement provided written assignments, as needed
- Document and report all legal, education, and service records/files as needed
- Supports in record keeping, as directed by Program Supervisors
- Scheduling
- Support with filling in for aides as necessary
- Notify district partners prior to a sub placement or staff absence
- Documentation and Record Keeping
- Maintains documentation on training delivered and continued student/staff support
- Ensure that aides have access to documents regarding students and resources such as service logs and break logs
- Assist with distribution of materials to behavioral aides
- Skill Competencies
- Review and evaluate the performance of all staff members to ensure the proper implementation of treatment/behavioral plans daily.
- Assists other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.
- Collaborate with school personnel with behavior support
- Active Supervision
- Review all IEPs, BIPs and BERs/Incident Reports for files to ensure compliance with Behavioral Aides
- Ability to travel to all school sites served within the Northern California Region (150+ miles/day)
- Helps maintain the physical school environment to keep it functional, safe, and clean
- Supervises students during class breaks and during lunch
- Assist students with eating, using the bathroom and moving from one classroom to another
- Maintain consistent awareness of client's whereabouts to ensure safety, including directing clients to appropriate groups or areas in the community or school. Including but not limited to, transportation transitions
- Reports daily attendance of students and staff to Supervisor. Assist with collection of staff monthly service and break logs
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned

MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma, equivalent or two-year degree or equivalent combinations of training and experience
- Experience working in a school or treatment setting for students with learning or social/emotional deficits
- DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background & TB Clearance
- Pro-Act, CPI and/or CPR certification helpful
- Working knowledge of standard business practices and procedures
- Computer-literate; knowledge of standard company software applications,
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks
- Problem-solving ability and proven accuracy with detailed information
- Proficient written and verbal English language communication skills, including business writing and professional telephone manner
- Reliability, dependability and flexibility

- Occasional exposure to dust, pollen and fumes
