Job Skills / Requirements

Sunstates Security is hiring aLead Acquisition Specialistto support our sales team by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing potential customers in thesecurity services industry. This role focuses on generating high-quality leads forsecurity guard services. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills with an emphasis on writing, experience in lead generation strategies, and the ability to research and engage potential clients effectively.

This position will be based out of our corporate office in Raleigh, NC, and is a fully in-office role - NOT remote or hybrid.

In addition to a competitive annual salary range of $60,000 - $65,000 this position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus, full medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage, 401k plan with company match, generous PTO allowance and more.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead Generation & Prospecting
  • Research and identify potential clients in industries needingsecurity services, including but not limited tocorporate offices, property management, manufacturing, logistics, construction sites, healthcare facilities, etc.
  • Generate qualified leads through utilizing tools such as Zoom Info, Sales Navigator, Linkedin, Salesforce, social media and other platforms to developemail campaigns and other marketing pieces.
  • Utilizemarket research, data mining, and prospecting toolsto build a pipeline of target clients for the sales team.
Lead Qualification & Nurturing
  • Conduct market research to identify and target potential clients in specific industries and locations.
  • Qualify leads based on whether they use security guard services.
  • Nurture leads throughconsistent follow-ups with marketing campaigns and tailored information about security solutions.
Collaboration with Sales & Marketing
  • Work closely with the sales team tohand over qualified leadsand ensure a smooth transition into the sales process.
  • Updating Salesforce to input all necessary data and transition to the appropriate salesperson.
  • Provide insights to refinesales strategies and marketing messagingto target key industries.
  • Collaborate with marketing on lead generation campaigns,content marketing, and security industry events. Attention to detail is critical.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing team as needed daily and include various projects and events where needed, including trade shows, annual leadership conference, etc.
Data Management & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate records of leads and interactions in theCRM system and other tools such as Salesforce, Zoom Info, Linkedin and Sales Navigator.
  • Track and analyzelead conversion rates, outreach effectiveness, and campaign performance.
  • Provideweekly/monthly reportsto management on lead generation progress and areas for improvement.
  • Create and maintain a dashboard within Salesforce.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLSETS DESIRED
  • Experience:2+ years in lead generation, sales development, or business development, preferably in thesecurity services industry(security guard services).
  • Communication:Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage potential clients professionally and interact/collaborate daily with the sales and marketing team.
  • Tech-Savvy:Proficiency inCRM systems, lead generation tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and email automation software. Ability to create reports within the system to track leads and analyze data.
  • Analytical:Ability to assess lead quality, track metrics, and refine strategies accordingly.
  • Self-Motivated:Goal-driven with a proactive approach to prospecting and relationship building.
  • Organizational Skills:Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Industry Knowledge:Understanding of security service offerings, compliance requirements, and industry trends is a plus.
  • Must be able to work fully in-office at our Raleigh, NC corporate headquarters - this is not a remote or hybrid role.
