Job Details:

This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by insuring the Supervisor's instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position will also monitor all equipment to insure it is working properly and notify the supervisor of any needed maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Applicants must be willing to work overtime and weekends. Some departments are hot/wet, and some are cold/wet. Fill in as necessary to cover breaks, absentees and emergencies as needed. Current Leads will have first consideration over other applicants. Some positions require using knives and scissors. Positions require walking to the job station. Some jobs require climbing stairs or climbing onto a work stand. Some positions require pushing, pulling, or lifting over 40 lbs. Requires lifting above shoulder level. Jobs are fast paced and require repetitive motion. Position requires standing approximately 8.5 hours/day on concrete floor or on metal stands. Position requires learning and training Team Members on all job assignments within the department. Requires basic computer skills to enter collected DATA into system.
