We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented
Receptionist to support our fast-paced law firm. This hybrid role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations, serving as the first point of contact at the front desk while providing backup administrative support to various departments, including the mailroom and attorney teams.
Front Desk Duties:- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Greet and assist visitors and clients
- Receive and distribute packages and deliveries
Administrative Support / Mailroom Backup:- Scan and route incoming mail
- Perform copy and binding jobs as needed
- Operate postage machine and ensure timely outgoing mail
- Monitor and replenish office supplies and kitchen inventory
- Provide general administrative assistance to attorneys and staff as needed
Qualifications & Skills:- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Familiarity with SurePoint (formerly Rippe & Kingston) or similar billing/timekeeping software preferred
- Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks for multiple attorneys
- Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities
- Quick learner with the ability to master new software and systems
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
