Job Description
We are seeking a Law Firm Operations/Administrator to join our team. You will perform HR, Finance, and Operations duties associated with the day-to-day operations of the firm. The legal administrator acts as the integrator by implementing processes, procedures, and firm infrastructures that support the firm's goals. This position is hybrid remote/in-office and will require travel between Rockville, MD and Baltimore, MD.

Qualifications:

• SHRM certification

• MBA, Master's degree

• Finance experience (15-million-dollar budget)

• Operations experience within a "client care" type of organization

• Strong leadership skills

Responsibilities:

• Work with leadership to create strategic plan and budget

• Coordinate the implementation of strategic plan

• Oversee billing, AR, AP, and financial reporting activities

• Establish and document financial system policies and procedures

• Review and analyze monthly financial metrics and establish new reports or dashboards as needed

• Review and discuss financial reports and analysis with Owner and CPA monthly

• Manage cash flow and financing activities

• Implement strategies for increasing profitability and meeting financial goals

• Monitor progress and act accordingly to keep the firm on track to meet goal

• Conduct regular meetings with firm employees

• Establish KPIs and incentive plans for associates & staff, coordinate performance management system

• Identify opportunities to save Owner time through delegation, automation, or staffing

• Provide input on staffing plan for next 1-3 years based on revenue and growth goals

• Coordinate recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new employees

• Evaluate current compensation and benefits; recommend and implement changes or additions as needed; create compensation plan

• Establish and document HR policies and procedures

• Liaise and coordinate with current vendors

• Conduct operations audit

• Address technology and process issues

• Coordinate and ensure compliance trainings are undertaken at required intervals (e.g., PCI trainings, NY Sexual Harassment trainings, Cybersecurity trainings)

• Recommend and implement systems (e.g., policies, procedures, and oversight) aimed at reducing risk such as separation of duties
