Law Clerk

1.Manage selected immigration case-load including Employment-Based immigrant visas, Family-Based petitions, deferred action for childhood arrival applications (DACA), Adjustment of Status cases, Employment Authorization Document (EAD) renewal, Citizenship/Naturalization applications, and other USCIS applications or petitions; 2.Assist aspiring business owners with new U.S. immigration-based enterprises; 3.Keep assigned cases organized by establishing and organizing files; 4.Develop assigned cases by maintaining contact with the attorneys and other paralegals involved in the case; 5.Perform legal research using traditional and automated research services or other research methods; 6.Prepare, proofread and cite and check briefs, legal memoranda, or statements of issues involved in cases, including appropriate suggestions or recommendations; 7.Gather information from clients and prepare exhibits, correspondence, pleadings, and other written documents; and 8.Keep clients informed by providing follow-up calls, letters, or emails frequently.
